During my more than 34 years of involvement with spiritualism and traditional spiritual practices, I have gradually felt that we should not understand Bhuvaneshwari merely through her physical form. Similarly, we must never reduce her to a Goddess associated only with worldly benefits.
Instead, her symbolism opens a much larger philosophical question:
What is the space within which everything appears, exists, changes, and eventually disappears?

The name itself provides an important doorway into her philosophy:
- Bhuvana: Broadly refers to the world, realm, or sphere of manifest existence.
- Ishwari: Refers to the Divine Sovereign Lady, ruler, or governing power.
Thus, we commonly understand Bhuvaneshwari as the Sovereign or Queen of the Worlds. However, we should not interpret this merely as an image of an earthly queen ruling a physical kingdom because the true meaning is deeply philosophical.

Together, the name expresses the idea of a Divine Feminine Presence associated with all realms and the vast canvas of existence. However, as with many Sanskrit spiritual terms, a literal translation does not communicate the entire philosophical depth.
Therefore, the concept of Bhuvana leads us directly toward questions about cosmic manifestation, space, and the fundamental environment within which existence becomes possible.
